The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it's alarmed with regard to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The services issue developed for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it sassa status check tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
